Create Your Manifesto
Manifesto
A public declaration of principles and intentions.
An Election Manifesto in particular is a document that sets down all the views and opinions that a political party has on certain issues and it will tell the reader the ways that the party would change these issues if they were elected as the government.
How to write a manifesto statement?
  • You may look at local issues, national issues international issues which the voters might consider important.
  • Choose issues that you think are important or maybe that the main political parties have as issues in their manifestos.
  • Search for news, opinions, forums etc. on the internet where these issues have been raised before.
  • Enter the statement preferably in present tense and tag the question relevantly.
  • Enter news links (maximum 3) to substantiate the statement. Try to keep the manifesto statement as short and crisp as possible
  • Check for duplicates --if the same statement has been entered before. Duplicate statements results in splits in points and hence missing the top spots
  • Avoid offensive language and personal abuses however strong you feel about the issue. Your statement may be moderated out.
