Capital punishments have been abolished in many countries in the world. Many US states also don’t have any capital punishments. India too should abolish capital punishment.

The government or the courts do not have the rights to take away some ones life. And also, people who commit the most dastardly crimes must be made to suffer. putting them to death is a very light punishment

Please try to provide a sound argument for your case. Why should I take a stand on this matter when I don't even know what is your problem with capital punishment.

Today when serious threats like terrorism is a serious issue, we will need very strong deterrents. Abolishing is not necessary, the punishment can be used in a more judicious manner
